Abstract
Cilj je bio prikazati učestalost pojavljivanja rascjepa usne i/ili nepca na splitskom području u razdoblju od 2009. - 2013. god. Trideset i troje djece s rascjepom usne i/ili nepca liječeno je na Klinici dječje bolesti i na Klinici za ženske bolesti i porode, Odjel neonatologije, Kliničkog bolničkog centra Split. Korištena je medicinska dokumentacija bolesnika s rascjepima. Podatci su prikupljeni iz arhive ovih klinika, Kliničkog bolničkog centra Split. Podatke o operacijama smo dobili iz Klinike za kirurgiju čeljusti, lica i usta, Kliničke bolnice Dubrava u Zagrebu. Rezultati našeg istraživanja ukazuju na to da je od ukupno 23 346 djece koja su u razdoblju od 2009. - 2013. godine rođena u Splitu, 0,1 % rođeno s rascjepom usne i/ili nepca. Rascjep se najčešće javljao kao izolirana anomalija, dok se kod 33% bolesnika javio u sklopu nekog od sindroma. Najčešće je to bio sindrom Apert. Rezultati našeg istraživanja se podudaraju sa studijom Mossey-a i suradnika provedenoj u Europi. Prema toj studiji kod 27% slučajeva rascjep se javio uz kliničku sliku nekog od sindroma. Podatci EUROCAT-a za broj djece sa rascjepima rođene u Zagrebu (2007. - 2011. god.) pokazuju kako je 0,3% djece na 10 000 novorođenih rođeno s rascjepima u tome vremenskome periodu. Naši podatci su slični, od 23 346 djece rođene u splitskom rodilištu u razdoblju od 2009. - 2013. god. 0,1 % djece je rođeno s rascjepima.
Abstract (english)
To show the incidence of cleft lip and/or palate in the Split area in the five-year period (from 2009 to 2013). Thirty-three children with cleft lip and/or palate treated at University hospital center Split, Paediatrics clinic and Obstetrics and gynecology clinics, Neonatology departement. We used medical records of children with clefts lip and/or palate. Data was collected from the archives of the these two clinics of the University hospital centre Split. Informations about the operations were received from the Department of maxillofacaial surgery, Univesity hospital Dubrava, Zagreb. The results of our study indicate that from the total of 23 346 children, born in the period from 2009 to 2013 in Split, 0.1% of them are with cleft lip and/or palate. Cleft mostly appeared as an isolated anomaly, while in 33% of children occurred as a part of a syndrome. The results of our study match the one made by Mossey and his colleagues, which was earlier conducted in Europe. According to this study, in 27% of cases, cleft appeared as a part of the syndrome. EUROCAT register for Zagreb (2007 - 2011 year) shows 0,3% children on 10 000 newborns with cleft lip and/or palate. In the five-year period (from 2009 to 2013) total of 23 346 children were born in Split, of whom 25 (0.1%) were born with cleft lip and/or palate. Most children with clefts were born in 2011.
