Abstract
Cilj istraživanja: Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je otkriti moguću razliku u resorpciji marginalne kosti oko implantata kod pacijenata koji su podvrgnuti all-on-4 terapiji povezanu s parametrima koji su uključivali dob i spol pacijenta, implantate različitih promjera i različitih nagiba. Također, pratili smo i stanje u pacijentovoj antagonističkoj čeljusti. Materijali i metode: Ovo istraživanje uključivalo je 52 ispitanika koji su podvrgnuti all-on-4 terapiji. Mjerili smo razliku u marginalnoj resorpciji kosti oko zubnih implantata na ortopantomogramskim snimkama koje su napravljene postoperativno i u razdoblju praćenja od dvije godine. Na snimkama smo utvrdili koji implantat je kojeg promjera i točnu angulaciju implantata u kosti. Rezultati: Nije uočena statistički značajna razlika u resorpciji kosti oko implantata u usporedbi sa svim ispitivanim parametrima. Zaključak: All-on-4 terapija predstavlja održiv obrazac terapije pacijenata s potpuno bezubim čeljustima.
Abstract (english)
Objective: The aim of the study was to discover a possible difference in marginal bone resorption around implant in patients undergoing all-on-4 treatment related to parameters including patient age and sex, implants with different diameters and inclinations. We also monitored the condition in the patient’s counter jaw. Materials and methods: This study included 52 subjects who underwent all-on-4 treatment. We measured the difference in marginal bone resorption around dental implants on orthopantomogram images taken postoperatively and over a 2-year follow-up period. On the images, we determined implant diameter and the exact angulation of the implant placed in the bone. Results: No statistically significant difference in bone resorption around implant’s was observed compared to all examined parameters. Conclusion: All-on-4 treatment is a sustainable form of therapy for patients with completely edentulous jaws.
