Abstract
CILJ ISTRAŽIVANJA: Prikazati razlike amplitude i latencije vala P300 između ispitanika s blagim spoznajnim oštećenjem i ispitanika iz kontrolne skupine. USTROJ ISTRAŽIVANJA: Provedena je presječna studija u trajanju od 1. travnja 2012. god. do 10. srpnja 2012. god. Glavni kriterij uključivanja bila je dijagnoza blagog spoznajnog oštećenja. MJESTO ISTRAŽIVANJA: Istraživanje je provedeno na Klinici za neurologiju KBC-a Split, referentni centar za evocirane potencijale Ministarstva zdravlja. SUDIONICI: U istraživanju su sudjelovala 22 ispitanika kojima smo neuropsihološkim testiranjem potvrdili dijagnozu blagog spoznajnog oštećenja. Ispitanike smo zatim podvrgnuli ispitivanju slušnih evociranih potencijala. Skupini ispitanika s blagim spoznajnim oštećenjem pridružili smo kontrolnu skupinu od 22 ispitanika, kojima smo prethodno isključili postojanje iste dijagnoze, te smo ih podvrgnuli ispitivanju slušnih evociranih potencijala. GLAVNE MJERE ISHODA: Veličina latencije vala P300 ciljanog i neciljanog podražaja; usporedba rezultata između ispitanika s blagim spoznajnim oštećenjem i ispitanika iz kontrolne skupine, veličina amplitude vala P300. REZULTATI: Duljina latencije vala P300 ciljanog podražaja u bolesnika s blagim spoznajnim oštećenjem pokazala se statistički značajno većom u odnosu na kontrolnu skupinu. Prosječna duljina latencije iznosila je 305,2 ms, za razliku od latencije ispitanika kontrolne skupine koja je iznosila 296 ms. Također se statistički većom pokazala i duljina latencije neciljanog podražaja. Prosječna duljina latencije iznosila je 320 ms, a latencija ispitanika iz kontrolne skupine 301,4 ms. Amplitude u bolesnika sa blagim spoznajnim poremećajem bile su niže u odnosu na kontrolnu skupinu; 40% bolesnika imalo je izrazito niske amplitude. ZAKLJUČCI: Bolesnici sa blagim spoznajnim poremećajem imaju produženu latenciju i sniženu amplitudu vala P300.
Abstract (english)
OBJECTIVE: Objective was to show the differences between amplitudes and latencies of patients with mild cognitive impairment and respondents from control group. DESIGN: A cross section study was made which started Apr. 1st 2012 and finished Jul. 10th 2012. Main including criteria was diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment. SETTINGS: The research was conducted at the Clinic of neurology of University Hospital Split, Split, Croatia. PARTICIPANTS: The research involved 22 patients with diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment, which was confirmed with full battery of neuropsychological tests. Their evoked potential results were compared with results of respondents from control group. Differences between amplitude and latency was shown in results. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Amplitude and latency values of P300 brain wave after auditory stimuli; differences between patients with mild cognitive impairment and healthy respondents from control group. RESULTS: Lenghth of the latency of the P300 wave after target stimuli was significantly larger in patients with mild cognitive impairment. Average latency lenhth in patients with mild cognitive impairment was 305,2 ms, and latency of the respondents from control group was 296 ms. Also, latency lenghth of the P300 wave after non-target stimuli was significantly larger in patients with mild cognitive impairment. Average latency lenhth in patients with mild cognitive impairment was 320 ms, and latency from the respondents from control group was 301,4 ms. Amplitudes in patients with mild cognitive impairment was also lower than amplitudes from correspondents from control group; 40% patients had extremly low amplitudes. CONCLUSION: Patients with mild cognitive impairment have prolonged latencies and lower amplitudes of the P300 wave.
