Abstract
Cilj istraživanja: Glavni cilj ovog istraživanja je bio ispitati dolazi li do povećanja kvalitete života povezane s oralnim zdravljem nakon predaje novih potpunih proteza uz uporabu adheziva. Materijali i metode: U ispitivanju je sudjelovao 15 ispitanika čija se dob kretala od 56 do 83 godine. Istraživanje je provedeno korištenjem OHIP upitnika. Statistička analiza napravljena je s pomoću statističkoga paketa SPSS 12.0. (Statistical package for Social Science, Chicago, Illinois, SAD). Rezultati: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 15 ispitanika, čija se dob kretala od 56 do 83 godina. Dokazana je statistički značajna razlika nakon predaje donje potpune proteze te nakon uporabe adheziva. Nisu dokazane statistički značajne razlike u ovisnosti o spolu i dobi. Zaključak: Rezultati ovog istraživanja pokazali su da je kvaliteta života pacijenata nositelja donjih potpunih proteza nakon primjene adheziva bolja.
Abstract (english)
Objectives: The main aim of this research was to examine whether there is an increase in quality of life related to oral health after delivering new total dentures with the use of adhesives. Materials and methods: 15 subjects, whose ages ranged from 56 to 83, participated in the research. The research was conducted using the OHIP questionnaire. Statistical analysis was done using the statistical package SPSS 12.0. (Statistical package for Social Science, Chicago, Illinois, USA). Results: 15 subjects, whose ages ranged from 56 to 83, participated in the research. A statistically significant difference was shown after the delivery of the lower total denture and after the use of adhesive. No statistically significant differences were found depending on gender and age. Conclusions: The results of this study showed that the quality of life of patients who use lower total dentures is better after the application of adhesive.
