Abstract
Cilj istraživanja: Utvrditi specifičnu smrtnost od pojedinačnih uzroka smrti na područjima priobalja, otoka i Zagore u razdoblju 2001.-2010. godine. Ispitanici: Svi umrli stanovnici Splitsko-dalmatinske županije u razdoblju od 2001. do 2010. godine s uzrokom smrti iz kategorija A00-T98, MKB-10. Rezultati: Od pojedinačnih uzroka smrti muškog spola svih dobi na Priobalju i u Zagori na 1. mjestu ranga su smrti zbog Ishemične bolesti srca, osim na otocima gdje primat imaju smrti zbog Cerebrovaskularne bolesti. Od pojedinačnih uzroka smrti ženskog spola svih dobi na sva tri područja su na 1. mjestu ranga smrti zbog Cerebrovaskularne bolesti. Zloćudna novotvorina dušnika, dušnica i pluća kao pojedinačni uzrok smrti od svih Zloćudnih novotvorina muškog spola svih dobi na vodećem je mjestu sa statistički značajno većom učestalošću na otocima i u Zagori u odnosu na Priobalje. Zatim slijedi Zloćudna novotvorina debelog crijeva, koja za isti spol i dob nema statističke značajnosti razlika na pojedinim promatranim područjima. Od svih Zloćudnih novotvorina ženskog spola svih dobi kao pojedinačni uzrok smrti najučestalija je Zloćudna novotvorina dojke. U dobi do 64 godine kod umrlih muškog spola, vodeći pojedinačni uzrok smrti je Ishemična bolest srca na svim područjima osim na Priobalju, gdje je vodeća Zloćudna novotvorina dušnika, dušnica i pluća. Na 3. mjestu ranga pojedinačnih uzroka smrti muškog spola u dobi do 64 godine su Bolesti jetre na sva tri područja, sa značajno višom učestalosti u Zagori. Kod umrlih ženskog spola dobi do 64 godine 1. mjesto ranga pojedinačnih uzroka smrti drži Zloćudna novotvorina dojke i to na Priobalju i otocima, dok je u Zagori Ishemična bolest srca na 1. mjestu ranga. Zaključci: Većina od deset vodećih bolesti-stanja kao pojedinačnih uzroka smrtnosti područja Splitsko-dalmatinske županije imaju statistički značajno manju smrtnosti od Hrvatske. Jedina značajno veća specifična smrtnost u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji u odnosu na Hrvatsku za oba spola svih dobi je smrtnost zbog Pneumonija kao i Simptoma, znakova i abnormalnih klinickih i laboratorijskih nalaza nestvrstanih drugamo. Udjeli umrlih dobi do 64 godine u ukupno umrlima na područjima Splitsko-dalmatinske županije u usporedbi s europskim zemljama i Hrvatskom pokazuju da su u očekivanim proporcijama razvijenih zemalja. Ipak, specifične stope smrtnosti do 65 godine života mogu se smanjiti provedbom mjera primarne i sekundarne prevencije.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study: To determine the specific mortality from individual causes of death in Split-Dalmatia County coastal areas, islands and Zagora between 2001 - 2010. The subjects: Were all residents who died in the 10 year period (cause of death: categories A00-T98, ICD-10). Results: Among individual causes of death (males) of all ages in the coastal areas and Zagora first place takes ischemic heart disease, except in the islands where the leaders are deaths due to cerebrovascular disease. Among individual causes of death (females) of all ages in all three areas first place takes deaths due to cerebrovascular disease. Malignant neoplasm of trachea and lungs as a single cause of death have leading position with significantly greater frequency in the islands and Zagora in relation to the coastal area. Then follows malignant neoplasm of colon, which for the same gender and age has no statistical significance of differences observed in some Split-Dalmatia County areas. Of all malignant neoplasms (females of all ages) as the most common single cause of death was malignant neoplasm of breast cancer. In the age of 64 years for male deaths, the leading single cause of death was ischaemic heart disease in all areas except in coastal areas (malignant neoplasm of trachea, lung and bronchitis). Third place for individual causes of death in males aged under 64 years were diseases of the liver in all three areas with a significantly higher frequency in Zagora. First place for individual causes of death in female aged under 64 years holds malignant neoplasm of the breast (coasts and islands), while in Zagora first place holds ischemic heart disease. Conclusions: The only significantly higher specific mortality for both sexes at Split-Dalmatia County area in relation to Croatia total area have pneumonia. Shares of deaths aged under 64 (in total deaths) in Split-Dalmatia County areas compared with European countries (including Croatia) show expected proportion in developed countries. However, the specific rates of mortality up to 65 years of age can be reduced by the implementation of primary and secondary prevention.
